A wedding at the beautiful Botanic Gardens in Glencoe is always flawless. Connie & Kristina will make all your wedding dreams come true 🙂
These were seriously my favorite table settings and best centerpieces ever! The color combinations are gorgeous. If I remember correctly Betsy painted those bottles by hand, she’s one talented lady, check out her Etsy shop.
Flowers by Pistil & Vine, they never disappoint, love their work!
Loved this Bridal party! [A special shout out to Jaye & Melissa, hey there party people!!!!]

Oh, yeah…it was a great party 🙂
From Betsy & Will…
‘Reception Venue – Chicago Botanic Garden, McGinley Pavillion ( http://www.chicagobotanic.org/events/ ). I cannot say enough about the amazing staff and personnel at the Chicago Botanic Garden who made our reception dreams come true! We knew we wanted a venue for the reception that would have an outdoor area and we could not have dreamed of a better location. The McGinley Pavillion overlooks a beautiful pond and scenery at the Garden while also offering the perfect blend of covered and un-covered outdoor space. Connie and her staff worked tirelessly to make everything perfect and they were all so helpful every step of the way. We came to know Connie on a more personal level and it was so nice to work with someone who you felt comfortable with and knew you could trust! Another important aspect of having the Botanic Garden host the reception was the ease with which the food and cake catering was arranged. The food, organized and prepared through Culinary Landscape, was unbelievably delicious as was our beautiful cake and cake pops provided by Oak Mill Bakery. People are still raving about the incredible food, service, and venue of our reception and we could not have been more happy with how everything turned out!
DJ – Toast & Jam ( http://www.toastandjamdjs.com/ ). We felt strongly that we wanted a DJ for the reception, and one who would play fun music from different genres and keep the party going until we were forced to stop! Karin from Toast & Jam delivered just that and we were thrilled to see so many of our guests constantly up dancing and having fun throughout the evening! On a personal level, Karin was so sweet and open to every last idea and feeling we had about songs and the flow of the evening.delivered just that and we were thrilled to see so many of our guests constantly up dancing and having fun throughout the evening! Flowers – Pistil & Vine ( http://www.pistilandvine.com/ ). Meg from Pistil & Vine in Chicago was yet another vendor that we absolutely fell in love with and feel so lucky to have found! She was a referral from Alicia and I knew the second we walked into her beautiful shop that we had found the best of the best. I had a somewhat specific vision of what we were looking for with the various floral arrangements for our ceremony, reception, and bouquets. I am in to DIY projects and found (through Pinterest, of course!) a fun way to personalize the decor at your wedding using glass bottles and jars, a little paint, and a florist willing to work with you to make it come true. Meg was not only open to my ideas and contributions to the floral decor and making it a simple yet elegant accent to the Botanic Garden scenery, she was enthusiastic about it and absolutely made every last detail perfect. The set up was flawless and everyone has told me how beautiful the floral arrangements and decor was and, if I do say so myself, I couldn’t agree more!’
