Engagement, surprise proposal photography Chicago, Lincoln Park Zoo | Rebecca and Noah-

Despite the 20 degree weather (much colder with the wind chill) this was such an awesome day!! Right when I parked my car in front of the Zoo, Bruno Mars came on the radio with the ‘Marry You’ song…I took it as a good sign 🙂

Noah hired me long before the proposal, he sent me maps, photos and we chatted about the plans a few times. His brother Will was a big part of the plan, that’s him in the gorilla suit.

Carol (my cold and faithful assistant, thank you) and I followed the lovebirds around as they looked at the Zoo lights.

This was the spot Noah picked out ahead of time, he made sure it was bright enough that Rebecca can read what he wrote…the last line was the proposal 🙂
