Harry Caray’s Wedding reception| the Westin Lombard | Chicago photographer | Jaclyn and Tyler
This wedding was amazing from beginning to end. Jaclyn and Tyler are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met. The way they look at each other, just makes me melt. This was also my fist time at Harry Caray’s and can I just say WOW!! The food was amazing! The staff, very accommodating and helpful. Thank you for sitting us with a bunch of fun guests 🙂

From the Bride and Groom…’Favorite wedding related purchase:
My dress was the easiest purchase and I absolutely loved it, but Tyler and I really enjoyed picking out invitations. We wanted them to be fun with a personal touch. We fell in love with a set of invitations with an illustrated couple on the front. We were able to make the illustration look more like us by choosing different features like hair color and style. It was alot of fun being able to create such a personal invitation together.
Favorite wedding memory:
We have two favorites memories. The first memory for both of us was the moment the doors opened at the church. It was perfect and made everything worth the wait.
Our second favorite memory was taking pictures at the hotel before the reception. It was the first time that day we were able to just be ourselves and soak it all in. It was relaxing and yet still really romantic to be close and pose together on our wedding day. I have to say that Hilda and Carol really helped make that experience memorable!
Advice:
Too often wedding planning can get overwhelming and it is tempting to just pick the first thing you see or spend money on the easiest choice. I think it is worth it to take your time with your fiance and pick out the things that you both really like. On the day of your wedding it feels good to know that you both put all of this together. It was really special to see our friends and family enjoying the things that are important to us as a couple.
Something I would have done differently:
I wouldn’t change anything because everything that happened made the day uniquely ours. Especially the part when my husband had no idea he was getting a boutonniere so on the way to the church he went to Jewel to buy one because he thought it would look nice.
Additional Thoughts:
Angel Eyes Photography was honestly one of the best decisions we made and we are so happy to have our memories preserved in such an artistic and beautiful way.
Not everything will go as planned but the most crucial part of the plan is to say “I do” and I can guarantee you will get that part right :)’
