Naper Settlement Chapel wedding | Chicago Marriott Naperville reception | Briana & Alex
This wedding is one Carol (my lovely and talented assistant) and I will talk about forever! There were several memorable moments, one which had one of us flustered and speechless and the other one doubled over in laughter. 😉 The other moment had us squealing and jumping with joy, thank you Briana and Alex for trusting us and going along with our crazy photo ideas. You are a photographers dream.

From the Bride…
‘Chapel: Naper Settlement Chapel in Naperville. We loved the uniqueness and the quaint feel of this chapel. We had the ‘rent a rev’ Jim Rehnberg officiate it. Our guests loved him and he really tailored our ceremony to us.
Venue: Chicago Marriott Naperville
We had 90% guests from out of state so we knew we wanted a hotel. We really liked the space and the hotel rooms and the food was fantastic. The interior of the hotel was also very modern and unique. It made for awesome pics! It was a perfect place to have it at while still being convenient to our guests.
Dress: Paloma Blanca. Strapless lace on top and silk organza on bottom. Love the look of black and white together and wanted a black sash. I absolutely loved the contrast of my black sash with the ivory gown. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice!! (Purchased at a Joyful Occasion in Naperville)
Shoes: Kate Spade Karolina pumps in ivory with gold heels
Flowers: Town and Country gardens. I absolutely loved my flowers and my vision really came to life! I wanted peacock colors and jamie went above and beyond picking flowers/colors to go with my theme. I had orchids, hydrangeas, white roses, and a few peacock feathers within my bouquet.

DJ: Soundscape disc jockey. They also provided our photobooth which had unlimited photos for our guests. Our guests and my husband and I really enjoyed it!
Videographer: Precision Video.
Groom and groomsmen suits: believe it or not (my husbands idea) every suit was bought at H&M. They all got
Teal ties off line. The suits and dress shirts were all from H&M. They all wore the old school black Adidas with the white stripes to coordinate with my black and white dress 🙂
Cake: a signature honey mousse cake. It was a white cake base with honey mousse filling. Our guests really raved about our cake and it was a unique flavor.
My favorite wedding purchase was definitely my dress. It was everything I envisioned and was happy with everything about it.
My favorite wedding memory was walking down the aisle seeing my future husband waiting for me. It was exciting and comforting seeing him there on the alter!
I would suggest that brides really explain their visions clearly to their vendors and take your time planning. There is so much that goes into planning and you don’t want to be stressed. Take it step by step. One piece at a time and it’s not as stressful! It all ends up working out in the end!!’
