Don and Tina, Geneva IL Wedding
Right from this first fist photo you can tell the type of Bride Tina is, fun and laid back. And not to mention extremely cool…I mean she wore not one, but 2 pairs of custom made Converse All Stars on her wedding day. The white ones were for the ceremony and the red ones for the party.
I mean really, come on! How could I not use the red jelly beans for the ring shot?
Don and Tina decided to see each other before the wedding, so we’d have time for photos beforehand. I definitely do recommend this if you want to feel more relaxed and you want your day to be less rushed. Here’s Don anxiously waiting for his bride, while I try to keep the elevator door open for Tina. (photo by Carolyn)
Fantastic shot by Carolyn of the ‘first look’ 🙂
The reception and the ceremony took place at the The Herrington Inn and Spa in Geneva IL. It looked so beautiful all decorated for the Holidays.
The bridal party had a lot of testosterone, it was fun to be around this wild bunch 😉
Tina was a trooper braving the cold December weather , we had a great time shooting in Geneva.
L_O_V_E THIS!!!!!
Tina wasn’t alone in her coolness, check out Don’s socks and shoes, he definitely has style!!
By the spa.
You know I was excited when I shot this photo!!!
These two were up for anything, literally! Thanks for climbing the wall Don!!
OK, this was such a great moment to see, the B & G walked in together for the ceremony. Why not? That’s one of the many things I loved about this wedding it was unique, they made it their own.
All the amazing lighting was by Chicago Lighting Design.
Congrats!!!
Music by The Innocenti Strings.
Loved the feather centerpieces on the cocktail tables…great way to save $$ on flowers.
This stunning cake was from the Cakery in Aurora.
Check out this ingenious idea from the Groom…Ice sculptures instead of flowers…WAY cheaper! Good job Don! [ Nadeau’s Ice Sculptures. ]
The ‘Candy Bar’ for their guests was a huge hit!
Every time I see this photo I melt, it’s so romantic…he literally swept her off her feet! (and he did it with one arm, even more impressive!)
The awesome music was courtesy of the Brill Babies, they were so fun and kept the party going.
I don’t think they stopped dancing the whole night.
The best man showing off his moves.
Oh, yeah they wore us out.
I love this last photo it pretty much sums up the day for me… I mean what else could you possibly need when you have great music, great friends, plenty of alcohol, your wife by your side and a great cigar?
🙂
A very special thank you to Cynthia from Everlasting Elegant Wedding who not only made sure that everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding, but also did the flowers!
