Independence Grove wedding photos | Chicago wedding photographer | Lauren & Rob

Words cannot describe how much I loved Lauren and Rob’s wedding…but I will try 😉  When I think of them, the fist thing that always pops in my head is happy. They are one the most genuine, happy couples I’ve ever met. Lauren was a stunning Bride, I was obsessed with that dress…and Rob was a hottie Groom whose laugh is incredibly contagious. Love stories are written about couples like this, I’m beyond honored to have been part of it.  Hope you enjoy the photos 🙂

You guys, there was hot flaming doughnuts at this wedding!!! You have no idea what’s missing in your life until you have one of these with ice cream, OMG I’m drooling just thinking about it.

From the couple…

Venue – Independence Grove, Libertyville – We loved absolutely everything about having our wedding there. We were attracted to the outdoor space and greenery along with all the windows in the banquet hall. Even though we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space due to the weather, it was just as beautiful inside. They set the romantic ambiance by turning the fire place on throughout the whole event – ceremony and reception. Marta was such a pleasure to work with, she was professional, personable and always on top of everything. The food was amazing and more importantly the doughnuts were outstanding!

Dress – Volles Bridal in Lake Zurich Designer Allure Bridal – I had the custom build out, so the back and straps were added on and all done at Volles
Flowers – Blue Daisy – Arlington Heights – Annie was so fun to work and very knowledgeable about her flowers. The centerpieces, bouquets and greenery arrangements were outstanding.
Rings – Rolland’s Jewelers in Libertyville – Such amazing team of jewelers. Lynn helped us out each time, very personable, educated and customer service orientated.
Your favorite wedding related purchase? I was pretty obsessed with my dress and think about putting it on again, haha. But something we both really loved was the picture frame that our guests signed. It will be such a great memory to have in our home.
Your favorite wedding memory? The idea that nearly 180 people came together for the two of us that day, to share our love and happiness. Knowing everyone was there for us was such an amazing feeling for the both of us. And of course they were there for the party too 🙂
Funny moments? Seeing the picture of my Grandpa with some of the bridesmaids – we LOVE that photo and gives us a good chuckle whenever we see it.
Something you wish you would have done differently? Bribed Mother Nature for better weather.
Any additional thoughts you’d like to share? Well of course we had the most amazing photographer who capture the amazing day for us through her photography – but not only that her awesome humor and personality 😉
