From the Bride…‘Venue: Boulder Ridge Country Club – Janet and Star were very easy to work with and communicate with. They would respond to every email and call in a timely manner. They were accommodating and affordable. The architecture outside was beautiful and the staff as well as the golf club members were friendly.

Cake: The Sugar Circle – The tasting was a great experience. It’s a small shop, but the cake was amazing! They have all different flavors of filling and frosting. It was a nice change from the traditional white, yellow, or chocolate. Each tier of the cake could have different flavors. My favorite was either salted caramel or peanut butter chocolate. I sent them pictures of what I wanted and they did a great job matching it.

Flowers: Artistic Floral Design – A small shop, a little hard to find. They did a great job with matching colors of the flowers, but didn’t quite get the bouquets like I wanted them. I wanted more tight and symmetrical and these had more texture and a little more greens than I would like. It cost a little more for them to deliver and set up themselves but it was definitely worth it. One less thing to worry about and the venue looked amazing.

DJ/Photo Booth: GN Events – Gene worked well with us and was very patient, especially because we kept changing our minds. He has an extensive song list to select from. We chose to pay a little extra for uplighting, which was definitely worth it. It added an extra touch to the venue. The photo booth was fun with plenty of props. And the best part is…the price was unbelievable!

All in all the day went well, but I would just say don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s not worth the time or stress. Also, don’t over pay for ANYTHING. We added things here and there that I thought would be fun and exciting to have, and honestly, you get so caught up in the moment and you’re busy taking pictures and visiting with family and friends you don’t even remember those details.’
