Ashley and Dave, Engagement session in Chicago

These two lovebirds met at their local neighbourhood bar, the Emerald Isle. Ashley was there with her friends and Dave (with the help of some liquid courage) approached them. I guess he’s got a pretty good pickup line, because here we are just a few months away from their wedding.  I like to incorporate places that are meaningful to a couple so it was a perfect place to start our photographic adventure.

The beautiful courtyard in the back. It was barely after noon, so we pretty much had the lace to ourselves….so romantic 🙂

From that point on we just drove around the City and stopped for photos wherever we felt like it, so much fun!

We found this cute little Coffee-shop-resale-store…I love Chicago!!

We had a yummy lunch at the red & yellow hot dog place. Thanks for lunch Dave 🙂

They were such good sports, sat on the floor without hesitation.
