Where do I even begin…this wedding was epic. Everything was planned by the B&G and it was flawless. There was a first look to allow for pre-ceremony photos. As you will see that did not take away form the emotion of seeing the Bride walk down the isle. The bridal party was on time and supportive. The groom romantic and handsome. And the Bride gorgeous, happy, gracious and fun. I might be slightly obsessed with backless dresses…especially with a back like Stefanie’s.

Beautiful venue with great food and ambiance the bridal suite is amazing and they really do give you the run on the hotel for your wedding. It is in a perfect location for walking photos. The history of the venue helps tell the story of just how amazing it is. If you are looking for a Victorian feel with romantic details then I highly recommend looking at this venue.
Flowers: Goldie Flowers on Irving Park
I am SO happy that we went with Goldie for our flowers. Working with Goldie makes the stress of remembering little details easy. She has an eye for seeing the vision of any couple and does an incredible job of turning that vision into a reality. She was in constant communication and at no point in our planning process did I ever worry about our decorations. We were able to work with her even on last minute tasks and it still came out perfect and without any push-back from Goldie. The best part is that she became part of our wedding and at the end of our ceremony I was surprised to see Goldie crying tears of joy right alongside with our family and friends. If you are looking for someone that will help connect your vision to reality and doing it with genuine care then I recommend you contact Goldie!
Cake : Alliance Bakery
I worked with Jennifer at Alliance. It is hard to get in contact with them but once you get in there they take over from there. I shared with her a picture of what I wanted and the team worked their magic to deliver. I was surprised because I usually hate the taste of fondant but theirs is great. The cake was beautiful and delicious which is a hard combo to nail!
Dress : Bridal and Formal in Cincy
I had a horrible experience at this place but they were one of the only 6 venues in the US that carried the designer I wanted. I do not recommend this place at all. I did have the BEST dress experience at Belle Vie in Chicago. They are amazing there and no how to treat a bride. The make sure that you as the bride get what you want and do not get swayed by any of the guests you bring with you. They have a very intimate setting that makes you feel the way you should while trying on dresses, special and beautiful. The only reason I didn’t get my dress there was because I was set on one designer and I would recommend this place to all future brides!
Hair and Makeup : Salon 1800
We used Kate and Orlando from Salon 1800 for our hair and makeup they are the best. Kate stayed with throughout the ceremony to touch up my hair after photos and to change it for the reception. She is an artist when it comes to doing here. She listens actively to what you envision for your hair on your wedding day and then she is able to deliver it and better. She will help with any items that you want in your hair. For example I had found a brooch what was the inspiration of our wedding. She found a way to turn it into a hair piece for me J
Orland did our makeup and I was at first really nervous. I have very sensitive skin and cannot use most makeup. The products that he uses are great for all skin types and didn’t clog my pores. He helped to make me feel so beautiful on our wedding day. After spending 5 minutes with him you can tell that beauty is his passion. If you entrust in him to help you find your own beauty you will not be disappointed.
Invites : BusyB
Busy B (Bridget) did all of our print material. She does incredible work. She LOVES wedding planning and has a keen eye for detail. She helped us on more than one occasion get back on schedule with our wedding planning. Without her we would have been late to everything. She is so easy to work with and is so creative. I highly recommend her for all invites that you would ever need to send.
My favorite part of our wedding was the officiant that we went with. He really did get to know us and because of that our ceremony was completely us. I think that a lot of couples get caught up in the details of flowers, dresses, music etc… that they forget the most important part, the ceremony. I am so glad that we had such a great person do ours and that we were able to have a ceremony that was unlike any other we have ever heard. Exchanging our vows for our love of one another was a feeling that I will never forget.’
