Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Avenue, Chicago downtown wedding | Casey and Eric Wedding [1]

Casey and Eric’s wedding was my first full wedding of the year, and what a great way to launch the 2012 wedding season. Casey planned a Spring wedding the same reason I love a Spring wedding, the weather 🙂  There were many amazing details and surprises, which made this photographer very happy 🙂 Please be sure to check back next week for part two of this post.

Shoes by Jimmy Choo.

Everyone got ready at the Wit Hotel Downtown Chicago.

Hello Gorgeous!!! Hair by  Blueberry Moon in Chicago.

Dress from Belle Vie Bridal Couture.

Transportation was provided by Emperor Limousine.

There’s just something about this photo I like.

At the Church everyone helped with the veil.

Bobbi Jindra with Pretty Things made this gorgeous purple bouquet.

Eric gave the groomsmen customized Nikes, what a great gift!

Eric is a DJ, so of course the turntable cuff-links were perfect.

Every time I drove down Michigan avenue in the past, I’ve always admired the beautiful Church across from the Water Tower place…I was soooo exited when I found out that’s where the wedding was going to be 🙂

Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago IL….just beautiful!

Not only were these kids adorable, but very well behaved too.

My assistant Carolyn’s  view of the groom’s reaction…

…and my view.

How cute are they?

Love this one!

From Casey…

“Our wedding day was hands down the best day of Eric and my life! Seeing all the details come together so perfectly, and enjoying and celebrating the special time with all those we love and care about at the most amazing venues in downtown Chicago was more than we could have ever dreamed of. When thinking back over the day’s events, there really wasn’t anything either of us would change. We enjoyed every moment of the day and wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without all of our incredible vendors!

Hotel: We stayed at and blocked off rooms for our guests at The Wit Hotel!  They were great, affordable for the location, close to our venues, and everyone seemed to enjoy their stay. There were also some really neat photo opportunities within the hotel that I took advantage of prior to the ceremony.  Eric and I had a wonderful suite, brunch the Sunday after the wedding was delicious, and they even gave each guest fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when they checked in! Overall, a great experience.

Hair: All the girls and I had our hair done at Blueberry Moon in Chicago. We all had appointments and were in and out just as planned. Ryan in particular made my hair dreams come true for my wedding!

Dress: I purchased my dress from Belle Vie Bridal Couture on Oak Street in Chicago. The girls there were so helpful and pleasant to work with! The real miracle worker however was Tula at Miss Couture who did my alterations! I had lost around 75lbs after ordering my dress, and Tula remade my dress to perfection!

Shoes: I wore gold sparkly Jimmy Choo peep-toe heels that were a present from my sister! They were the perfect heel height and looked great with my dress!

Church: The beautiful Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Avenue! I have loved everything about this church since I was a little girl. It was a dream to get married here! Kathy, our wedding planner, and Adam, our minister, were so helpful and made the process so easy for us. We enjoyed every minute of the ceremony and it’s beautiful surroundings.

Transportation: Emperor Limousine provided our limo for the girls the morning of the wedding and our party bus for the rest of the day and night! Looking back, we probably should have rented something a little bigger than we did, but everyone packing into the bus made for a fun time! They were right on time to each location and handled crazy Michigan Avenue Saturday traffic well will a full bus!

Florist: A friend Bobbi Jindra with Pretty Things was my florist and created exactly what I wanted! She made my flowers simple, but beautiful! She also helped behind the scenes that day with anything we needed! She was wonderful, and I would recommend her highly!”

The photo above of Diego with the B&G, is my new favorite…now I have to figure out how to make more wall space in my office again 😉
