Fulton’s on the River, Chicago downtown Wedding reception | Casey and Eric [2]

Here’s the second part to Casey & Eric’s super-fun-and-awesome wedding, click here to see part one. Thank you to the Bridal party for humoring me 🙂

Millennium Park, Chicago.

The reception was at Fulton’s on the River. When we got there the boys changed into their Nike’s, which were way more comfortable than the rented dress shoes!

Love this one.

This one too 🙂

Favorite!!!

The centerpieces were probably my favorite ever. The simplicity of the tulips and the pop of color was so pretty.

Is this not the cutest card box ?  Casey is a huge Louis Vuitton fan so of course a LV suitcase card box was perfect.

The treats were from Chicago Wedding Candy Buffet.

Custom cake topper from Etsy. I admire the little details they include like the stethoscope for Casey(she’s a nurse) and the Headphones for Eric (he’s a DJ) And of course their baby, Diego 🙂

Party time!

DJ Arkitek packed the dance floor…seriously he was so good that even when it was time for us to leave we were drawn back by the music.

From the Bride…

“Reception: Fulton’s on the River with Levy Events was where we chose to have our reception, and they were awesome! Jamie Patrick was our planner, and she made it really easy. The food was incredible, from the appetizers to the steaks, to the slider and french fry station at the end of the night, and the drinks kept flowing! The cake made by Bleeding Hearts Bakery was great, too! The red velvet and chocolate choices were delicious! Fulton’s set everything up to perfection, there were plenty of staff to help with the event, and it all turned out just as we had hoped! We were so glad we went with this venue and were not disappointed! One of our favorite moments was when we took a sneak peak at the room prior to our guests arriving, and it looked beautiful!

Candy Buffet: Chicago Wedding Candy Buffet is who created our candy buffet, and we loved it!!! It looked great! They set it up, brought all their own treats, and even personalized the buffet to Eric and I and our wedding colors. It included everything from pixie sticks, to candy rings, to home made dipped oreos and fortune cookies. It was a huge hit with our guests and way above and beyond what I ever thought a candy buffet could be! One of our favorite wedding details!

Entertainment: DJ Arkitek, a friend of Eric’s, provided the music for our wedding reception, and he did not disappoint! The dance floor was packed until the end of the night, and he included many genres of music to suit all of our guests. All the dancing was definitely a top memory from the night!

Photo Booth and Up-lighting: Non-Stop Entertainment provided our purple up-lighting and photo booth. The lighting looked great on the brick walls of our loft-like venue, and everyone should have a photo booth WITH PROPS at their wedding! The guests loved it, and Eric and I enjoyed looking at all the pictures everyone took!

Cake topper, bathroom baskets, Chicago Bears garter, lego ring bearer boxes, table numbers, place card candles, bubbles, programs, and tons more were all thanks to Etsy! All my wedding details came together with Etsy! It was amazing what we found on there. My cake topper was a replica of Eric, our English Bulldog Diego, and I, and it was one of our favorite details!

Last, but certainly not least, my amazing photographer Hilda and her assistant Carolyn were easily the best money we spent! Not only did they capture every moment and detail to perfection, but Hilda was my right-hand woman throughout the whole day! She made sure we were right on schedule, was always there to help with anything, and really kept things going smoothly throughout the day! The pictures I have seen so far have gone above and beyond anything that we thought could be captured on camera, and we can’t wait to see the rest! Hiring Angel Eyes Photography to photograph our wedding was hands down the best decision we made! Thanks to Hilda, we will have amazing memories from our special day forever! “
